An alumna of the Department of Library and Information Sciences, University of Mysore, Dr. K.S.Chudamani currently working as Deputy Librarian, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore donated Rs. 50,000 in memory of her recently deceased mother—Mrs. Parvathamma Subbaraya. Since the amount fell short of the requisite one lakh endowment, the additional sum of Rs. 50,000 was mobilised from ISiM students and alumni.
